Is it a sin not to blog?

For those of you who haven’t noticed, it’s been a month since I last blogged.  It’s been a crazy month but I suppose that’s not an excuse.  Somewhere in the first week of October, the sem break happened and I thought that without classes, I’d find more time to blog.  It just didn’t happen.  I’ve been away, swamped by new work, attending meetings — some long, some as short as 10 minutes, and narrowly missed a series of bombings (that’s not entirely true). 

Anyway, spurred by a comment by Dave Starr on my previous post, I’m back!
